About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Content Writer who can create high-quality, research-backed content across multiple formats while working closely with our Marketing, Product, Business, and Leadership teams.
This role requires someone who enjoys simplifying technical concepts, understands B2B Saa S communication, and can produce content that builds trust with enterprise decision-makers.
You'll be responsible for developing content that supports marketing campaigns, product education, thought leadership, SEO, sales enablement, and customer education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Content Development
- Research and write high-quality technical content related to: Carbon Accounting, Carbon Markets, Carbon Credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs), Sustainability, ESG, Climate Technology, etc
- Convert complex technical concepts into simple, engaging, and business-friendly content.
- Work with design team to develop visual content assets.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Business teams to ensure technical accuracy.
2. Website & SEO Content
- Write and update website pages.
- Create SEO-optimized blog articles.
- Develop landing page copy for marketing campaigns.
- Refresh existing content for improved search performance.
3. Product & Sales Content
Create content for:
- Product brochures
- Case studies
- Customer success stories
- Feature announcements
Support the Sales team with industry-specific and persona-specific collateral.
4. Marketing Content
- Develop content for: LinkedIn posts, Email campaigns, Newsletters, Webinar promotions, Event collateral, Campaign landing pages, Video scripts, Explainer videos, etc
- Ensure all content aligns with Sustainiam's brand voice and messaging
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical content writing, content marketing, or B2B SaaS content.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly.
- Experience writing blogs, landing pages, website copy, product content, and marketing collateral.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
- Ability to independently manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience working in B2B SaaS companies.
- Experience writing about sustainability, ESG, climate-tech, renewable energy, carbon accounting, or environmental markets.
- Experience using AI writing tools responsibly to improve productivity.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEO tools.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Framer.
Education
- Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field.
- Master's/MBA in Marketing or Communications is a plus (not mandatory).
